Hailing from the midlands, Nicholas Crampton (vocals), Rik Gilbert (drums), Jordan Wood (lead guitar), Conor Wade (bass) and Will McKeown (rhythm guitar) make up the alternative rock band, Adelphia.
They exploded onto the music scene at the start of 2013 and it did not take long before Adelphia proved that mixing thick guitar riffs, melodic licks and punchy drums with smooth toned vocals equated to a fresh alternative rock sound and allowed them to stand out with something unique.
Renowned for their refined sound in the studio as well as playing an extensive array of UK festivals, including Download Festival, Hit The Deck and Macmillan Fest to name a few. Along with playing across venues in the UK, Adelphia have gained an impressive amount of coverage from various media publications such as Kerrang Radio, Rocksound & SCUZZ TV, as well as record breaking broadcasting on BBC Introducing on Nottingham, Derby and Lincoln Stations; not forgetting independent broadcasting in Europe and America.
March 2015 saw the band head out on their debut tour titled ‘The Hometown Brodown’, playing alongside Breathe In The Silence, Pavilions and Dirt- covering venues around the UK, from The Krazy House in Liverpool through to The Scene in Swansea.
Racking up over 160,000 views on their YouTube channel, it seems there’s a popular demand for Adelphia across the UK.
